Welcome

We are a young laboratory in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering at the University of Utah. Our research lies at the intersection of optics and nanotechnology, with special foci on extending the spatial resolution of optics to the nanoscale, and applications of optics in energy. In addition to gaining a deep understanding of the basic physics of the behavior of light and matter at the nanoscale, our research is driven by many exciting applications. Our group is a part of the Utah Science, Technology and Research (USTAR) Initiative. The USTAR program is a long-term investment from the State of Utah to incubate world-class research and nurture enterpreneurship.
